The final race weekend of the 2026 Canadian Super Truck Racing Series got underway Friday with a Meet & Eat hosted by Webb’s Motors in Wainwright, before the series headed to Sutherland Automotive Speedway for the Points Final on Saturday. It was a great way to wrap up a season that had more than its share of weather challenges, including two rainouts earlier in the year. The 2026 racing season opener was held Saturday night, May 23 at the Sutherland Automotive Speedway in Saskatoon. Opening race day, no matter when it arrives, leaves teams scrambling to finish trucks and get the bugs worked out. We were missing a few trucks in line up due to parts supply and family emergencies, but 10 beautifully prepared trucks put on a great show for the fans.
