As the season schedule comes to an end it is time to reflect on the highs and lows of the season. The drivers of this series should be proud of their season. Racing nine times as a series with great corporations/companies, good truck counts and exciting racing.

Congratulations to 67 Kyle O'Connell and his crew chief Dusty O'Connell from Wainwright, Alberta for winning the Series Championship. Rounding out the top three for second place in points was 7 Dave Vennard of Sherwood Park, Alberta. In third place was the top "rookie" driver 76 Ryan O'Connell from Wainwright, Alberta. After this exciting schedule where we backed up the NASCAR Canada Pinty's Race in July and the Bridge City Pro Late Model 200 the series has many positive things to build on to.

The series was supported by some twenty different Corporate and Contingency Partners. Prairie RAM Dealer was the Series Sponsor. The pace truck "Rebel" was sponsored by a long time business sponsor of stock car/truck racing Auto Clearing Jeep RAM Dealer of Saskatoon. A special thank you goes out to Mark Burton for bringing some high profile companies to the series in 2024. They include Annugas Compression Consulting, NAPA Auto Parts, Applied Industrial Technologies, Alta Tube and Bar, Five Star Race Car Bodies, Minuteman Press, Pipetech, Brothers HDD, Lucas Oil Products, Fitzgerald Aggregates, Papa John's, Tiger Automotive, RIV Toy Box Classic Car, Discover Saskatoon Tourism and O.V. Aggregates Ltd.

The series had a professional photographer this season with Brent Just of Langham, Saskatchewan. Many of his pictures were used for business cards and website advertising. These professional photos improved the perception of the truck series.

The Canadian Super Trucks Racing Series will celebrate the end of the 29th season on November 2 with an Awards Banquet in Wainwright, Alberta, where tentative schedule and race plans will be discussed. It is our hope that many of the drivers and their crew will be in attendance. Tracks in Prince George, Hythe, Medicine Hat, Regina, Saskatoon, Penticton, and Polson, Montana have shown positive interest in hosting the series in 2025. All of these will be discussed at the driver meeting at the banquet. The MC of the evening is past Series Champion Dan Saunders. Tickets are $40 each. Please contact us to let us know how many tickets you require. You can reach Herm at hhordal@sasktel.net, Dave at dlm7v@aol.com or Garth at garthhazlehurst@shaw.ca. Hotels have been booked at the Best Western and Ramada Inn in Wainwright, and special room rates have been offered at these hotels for Canadian Super Trucks until October 15.

At the banquet each driver has been asked to bring a unique item that will go into the silent auction. Items so far include: Artist Jonn Einerssen's painting HEAVENS FIRE 30x30, Tony Stewart NASCAR Jacket, pottery items from Willy Renama, Artist Al Bakce's wood carving, Tony Esposito NHL Jersey, A&W item, ProWest Motorsports Edmonton race wear, and golf course pass 2025.

See everyone at the drivers meeting and banquet, enjoy the off season.
